Rain and sleet this morning, but were the volunteers deterred? Absolutely not! Bearing in mind that the early birds might have begun nesting, (a survey was carried out before work started) they cleared openings in a plantation where rescued reptiles have been rehomed. Cold blooded reptiles will be needing some sunny glades as winter turns to spring, somewhere to slowly warm themselves up.
Thank you hardy stalwarts.
ALSO – spotted the strange shaped ‘candlewick fungus’.
