Our November Volunteer session continues our efforts to coppice the last remaining area of original planting of the Hazel Plantation. This was our second session in the series and already shows excellent progress has been made.
This session was also assisted by two staff from Rochford District Council [RDC] who helped with the tree felling and dry hedge preparation.
Another great community lead activity where much is being achieved to a special area of the park, and this time the weather was fantastic. Looking forward to another session in December.
I thank all of our volunteers for their support given today, and also RDC who freed up some staff to help us with the activity.
